MY BEAM LABOUR HIRE are seeking a highly motivated person for a very hands-on Team Leader/Leading Hand role at our Client's Rubber Manufacturing factory in St Mary's, NSW.

Previous production supervision experience is a must. Rubber Manufacturing experience would be an advantage but is not necessary. You must have knowledge on minor machine broke down problems.

The role requires working closely with the Operations Manager and working on the factory floor as part of the production team. You will provide day-to-day leadership & training of a team of 13-16 people to meet strict production & quality targets. Since it's Rubber Manufacturing Industry you definitely has to deal with Black carbon, smoky environment and different types of Rubbers and Chemicals powder.

To be successful in either role you must possess the following:

Highly motivated with strong hands-on team leadership skills;

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous;

A stable employment history with good references;

A strong focus on customer service, safety, productivity & following procedures;

Sound computer skills including inventory , invoicing systems and employees timesheet systems

Worksafe recognised forklift licence;

Mechanical or electrical aptitude.

A good knowledge of distribution and warehousing procedures

PC literacy, with good skills in the Microsoft range of products, (excel and email in particular) along with a general understating of mainframe applications.

Must possess exceptional time management and organisational capabilities

Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities along with a proactive approach are required.

The following is not necessary but would be an advantage:

Forklift licence
